Gastric-Band-Hypnosis is currently a very popular weight management choice. Many people are fed up with yo-yo dieting and are looking for an alternative. Unlike the actual gastric band operation, there are no side effects and it has been shown to be just as effective, if not more so, than the surgical option.
What is Involved? What can I Expect?
There are 4 sessions in the Gastric-Band-Hypnosis course.
At the 1st session, we can discuss your issues with food and find out what you can improve on in order to become an ideal weight for you. I will provide you with information to help you lose fat. What foods to eat and what foods to avoid. We can then start the hypnosis part of the session to encourage an increase in your metabolism and to begin the new healthy relationship with food with the use of hypnotherapy suggestions. You will be provided with CD's to listen to between sessions.
The 2nd session is to clear emotional issues around food and in general. Again, you will take away a CD to help you, on a deep subconscious level, to begin to choose a healthier lifestyle and leave the old ways behind.
The 3rd session is the actual Gastric-Band-Hypnosis Operation. You can decide not to have this if your weight loss is already sufficient. You can make up your mind when the time comes.
The 4th session is for adjustment of the Gastric Band. Perhaps you have lost too much weight too quickly and therefore the gastric band will need to be opened slightly to allow more food to enter your stomach. Or perhaps you haven't lost enough weight over a period of time so that the gastric band will need to be tightened and the stomach pouch made smaller. Should you not need any adjustment of the gastric band, we can work on other issues that have arisen since the Gastric-Band-Hypnosis operation took place.
There is an optional 5th session. This is in case you need further support or further hypnotherapy suggestions to help in a particular area. Perhaps you need to exercise more or eat smaller portions or maybe you would like to learn further techniques to reduce cravings and to feel more confident. This is included in the price.
